About Regrets

I’m one of those people who thinks a lot about her past; the decisions I’ve made and how everything has changed me into this person I am today. I used to regret a lot of decisions, not because they were necessarily bad but because I thought I could have done so much better. And in hindsight, sure, I could have. But we work with the things we have here and now and we make the decisions we need to make to balance all of those things. And looking back, we aren’t going to see the whirlwind of emotions and tasks we were in the middle of; we only see that one decision we made, and we think far too much about all of the ways it could have been better.

I am who I am today because of my past. Some of it was amazing, some of it I would sometimes rather forget. But if it weren’t for all of those decisions, all of those mistakes, I would be in some other place, doing some other thing, and I’m doing pretty well right here.

  1. I feel like your photo in regards to purchasing a kindle…

If only hindsight could be foresight in every decision we make… sigh.

    • Yeah, that would definitely be nice. And regarding the Kindle, I think it’s ridiculous that some folks are saying it’s going to put books out of commission. *sigh*
